Chhattisgarh Swami Vivekanand Technical University (CSVTU) has been established by an Act(No.25 0f 2004) of Legislature passed by the Chhattisgarh State Govt. The merit list for MBBS/BDS admission released

The merit list for MBBS/BDS admission was released here on Friday, a day ahead of schedule.

Nine students, who scored 200/200, secured the top ranks in the list released by the Directorate of Medical Education.

Sonu Rajan of Sri Sankara Vidyashramam Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Tiruvanmiyur, tops the list and is the only Chennai student among the top nine. She is a third year dentistry student who could not get admission for MBBS in 2005-06 due to low marks in the entrance examination. S.V. Manoj Kumar of SRV Boys Higher Secondary School, Rasipuram, has been placed second and V. Arun of St.Joseph’s Higher Secondary School, Chengalpet, third.

Of the 12,274 candidates who sought admission for the MBBS/BDS courses, 4.78 per cent was found ineligible for a variety of reasons. There are 1,483 seats in government medical colleges and 348 seats are part of the government quota in private medical colleges. Another 560 seats are available with private, self-financing medical colleges in the State.

SSC Dakhil 2008 Exam Results Published

The results of this year's Secondary School Certificate (SSC), SSC (Vocational) and Dakhil examinations under seven education boards, Technical Education Board and Madrasa Education Board will be published simultaneously today across the country.
The candidates can collect the results, which will be published at 5:00pm, from their respective schools or examination centres. They can also receive the results through short message service (SMS).
Anyone having GrameenPhone, Banglalink, Aktel, CityCell, TeleTalk or Warid connections, has to type the first three letters of the respective board (for example DHA for the Dhaka Board), give a space and type the Roll Number and then send it to 2777 or 4636 to get the results.
The results of SSC and Dakhil Examinations will be available on the website http://www.educationboard.gov.bd/ and of the SSC (Vocational) exams on http://result.bteb.gov.bd/.

The Office of the Controller of Examination (OCE) has furnished all the tasks of marking the answer-sheets of the students appeared in the SLC examination. All the answer-sheets along with the marks obtained by each student have been brought to the OCE office at Sanothimi, said office of the examination controller Harka Prasad Shrestha.

Air Hostess Training Courses

Required eligibilities

It is a job for girls only. Minimum qualification for the training course for air hostess is 10+2/ graduation. She must be between 17 to 26 years of age. There are some relaxations for SC/ST/OBC category aspirants. The height must not be less than 155 cm. Some institutes demand the minimum height 157 cm as well. It’s requires a good proportion of height and weight. The girl must have clear eyesight and clear skin, if she wants to pursue a carrier in this field. This profession is having good craze across the India in young ladies. But it is a very challenging and hard job too.
