The Saurashtra University is one of the largest universities of Gujarat state in India. It has very vast campus admeasuring 360 acres. It covers five districts of Saurashtra region.
Saurashtra University, was founded on 23rd May, 1967. The jurisdiction of the University includes Amreli, Jamnagar, Porbandar, Rajkot and SurendraNagar districts. Presently, the University has 242 colleges affiliated to it, imparting Undergraduate and Post graduate education.
