CBSE Grading System 2010 - CGPA to Percentage

CBSE class 10th results 2010 has been announced to day on 28th May 2010 at 10 am by The Central Board of Secondary Education. This year CBSE board for the very first time introduced results based on grading systems.

An indicative equivalence of Grade Point and Percentage of Marks can be assessed as follows :

Subject wise indicative percentage of marks = 9.5 x GP of the Subject.
*
Overall indicative percentage of marks = 9.5 x CGPA


A new system of grade– Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE) – based on grades has been approved. The grade system will make the education system more flexible at least for class 10 students.


CBSE-Grading-System-2010:

* 91-100 – A1
* 81 -90 – A2
* 71 -80 – B1
* 61-70 – B2
* 51 -60 – C1
* 41 -50 – C2
* 33-40 – D
* 21-32 – E1
* 00-20 – E2
