This year, around 5.6 million students appeared for the High School & Intermediate Examinations. Out of these, 24 Lakh students appeared for the Intermediate Examination and 32 Lakh students appeared for the High School Examination.

CBSE Class 12 results announced

Girls continued to outshine boys in the Class XII exam conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education with 81% students clearing the test. Girls registered a pass percentage of 85.94 against 77.40 of boys.

A total of 6,37,976 students were registered for this year's exam. This year's pass percentage marks an increase of 0.09% over the pass rate of last year.
